Building A Lighting Brand Around Trust and Assurance
Back in 2014, Lance Lighting was a startup entering the highly competitive LED lighting market. The category was crowded with functional claims, product-led communication, and several established players. For a new brand, the challenge was to create an identity that could inspire confidence from the very beginning.
The founders wanted the brand to communicate a simple but powerful idea: with Lance, be rest assured. Studio Mindful translated this assurance into a visual identity built around the idea of an embrace. The logo was designed to feel protective, dependable, and confident, while the strong wordmark gave the brand a sense of authority and trust.
The colour palette combined tones of cyan and earth, reflecting the impact of lighting across the cycle of the day. The identity gave Lance a distinctive and credible presence as it entered the market. Over the years, Lance has grown into a popular and leading workspace lighting solutions company with pan-India presence and clientele including Google, Kotak, LinkedIn, McDonald’s, and other major organisations.
